Attorney Profile

Matthew Tiffee was born in Misawa, Japan, the son of an Air Force Officer who served his country in the Vietnam War and an elementary school counselor who serves the poorest of our community. It is with the lessons from these individuals that he now serves the people of Texas and the broader principles of justice.

Mr. Tiffee began his legal career serving a prestigious clerkship in Cleveland, Ohio. While in Cleveland, he worked with some of the finest defense attorneys in the world on matters ranging from Driving While Intoxicated to defending the criminally insane from the Death Penalty. Leaders in law have awarded him with prestigious awards in the areas of criminal and national security law.

Matthew Tiffee has spent a lifetime advocating for causes across the globe. He served an exclusive fellowship with the English Speaking Union, a fellowship whose alumni include powerful business leaders and politicians. While serving his fellowship he was an invited speaker at the British Inns of Court and dozens of universities including Oxford, Cambridge, the University of Utrecht, and the University of Lisbon.

Mr. Tiffee now brings his experience and practice to Austin. While in Texas he has been honored for his work with the Texas Attorney General. He currently practices in the areas of Criminal and Family law where he continues to build his reputation as one of the finest attorneys in Central Texas.
